Epic Moments

My little Neighbour
Brought to me a book,
He claimed was "very nice"
"Mahabharata in Abridged Form," it said,
All of it
had so often been read.

Yet an epic is reborn
with every child
Such zeal I saw
In his sparkling eyes,
As he showed me
The pictures of the heroes,
Discovering
Every bit of it anew.
